Christopher Nolan is considered one of the successful Hollywood directors, having delivered some of the highest-grossing and critically acclaimed movies of all time. His recent hit, “Oppenheimer,” is particularly noteworthy as the highest-grossing biopic, earning praise from many.

While fans appreciate the way his movies portray complex storylines in a thrilling manner, one of his movies, likely “Tenet,” prompted his Peloton instructor to roast it as well. Following this, the incident went viral as Nolan shared about it with everyone.

Despite Christopher Nolan having a massive fanbase for his work worldwide, it seems that his Peloton instructor isn’t impressed with one of Nolan’s movies. Not only that, but the instructor went on to roast the Hollywood director’s work during Nolan’s virtual workout on Peloton.

It was during his acceptance speech for receiving the Best Director award from the New York Film Critics Circle that Nolan shared the incident.

He said, “I was on my Peloton doing a high-interval workout, I’m dying”?. He adds “The instructor started talking about one of my films and said, ‘Has anyone else seen this? Because that’s a couple hours of my life I’ll never get back again’”.

Nolan may have had his Peloton instructor roast one of his works, likely to be Tenet. However, the Hollywood director took it in a humorous way. In response, he said, “When Rex Reed takes a s*** on your film, he doesn’t ask you to work out.”

Nolan, moreover, mentioned in his acceptance speech, “In today’s world, where opinions are everywhere, there is a sort of idea that film criticism is being democratized, but i for one think the critical appreciation of films shouldn’t be an instinct but it should be a profession”.
