Bigg Boss 17 introduces new game format, audience buzzing with excitement

Bigg Boss 17, an engaging and popular reality show, continues to captivate audiences. This 17th season carries the title ‘Bigg Boss: Dil, Dimaag aur Dum Ka Game’, a unique twist to the usual format, which is garnering significant attention and acclaim. It is broadcasted on the renowned channel, Colors Television, and is also available on the digital platform Jiocinema. The show’s inaugural episode was aired on 16 October 2023, and it has been generating a buzz ever since.

The dynamic reality show is hosted by Salman Khan, a veteran in the field, who is gracing the Bigg Boss stage as a host for the 14th time. His charismatic hosting style is one of the reasons why the show has garnered such a huge fan base.

Differing from previous seasons, this season’s concept revolves around the theme, “Dil, Dimaag, and Dum”. The contestants are divided into three groups, each representing one of these elements. This new strategy introduces an interesting dynamic as participants can choose their approach to the game, forming alliances and displaying favouritism.

The logo of Bigg Boss has always been a captivating aspect of the show. This season, it boasts an alluring orange colour palette, with numerous doors and windows spewing fire, and a blazing orange core acting as the pupil. The show adheres to a set of rules, including the mandatory wearing of a microphone and the constant surveillance by over 100 cameras, ensuring that no activity goes unseen by the audience. This transparency is a core concept of the show, making viewers feel they’re part of the action.

Lately, the show has been making headlines due to a recent elimination. The actor Abhishek Kumar was asked to exit the show by Ankita Lokhande, the house captain, following a physical altercation with Samarth. Abhishek, known for his role in Udariyan, had been in the spotlight following several squabbles with Samarth Jurel. Ankita was tasked with the decision to eliminate him, citing a similar incident involving Thelka aka Sunny Arya as a precedent.

The housemates agreed with Ankita’s decision, as Abhishek had violated one of the show’s primary rules. Despite the finale being a mere three weeks away, Abhishek was forced to leave. He argued that his aggressive behaviour was a result of constant provocation by Samarth and blamed Samarth and Isha Malviya for his expulsion from the show.

Fans of the show, especially those of Abhishek, were disheartened by his abrupt exit. However, they are hopeful that he might be invited back by Salman Khan during the weekend Ka Waar episode, a segment where Salman addresses controversial incidents of the week. At this stage, this is mere speculation, and fans will have to wait for the upcoming episode to see if Salman Khan decides to bring Abhishek back. Stay tuned for further updates on this gripping saga.
